We work with you to understand your story. We understand that the centerpiece we are creating is not merely intended to be a marvel, it is intended to carry a message. Pieces that are merely "really cool" have a hard time standing out in an environment because they end up being non-engaging islands. People see them, photograph them, then move on without engaging in the overall setting. We work with architects, developers, producers, and event creative directors to understand your messaging, your story, your "vibe". Then, we partner with you to design a robust, cost-effective, mind blowing piece which tells your story. We keep final fabrication and assembly on our own shop floor to allow for testing, electronics and sensor integration, as well as last minute modifications and changes. Finally, we also provide onsite event services to ensure a technically sophisticated piece stays perfectly operational throughout an event.

OUR WORKFLOW

Everything we make starts with a model. Not a clay and cardboard model - a 3D rendered model based in a computer. This workflow enables us to look at many different options quickly, and carefully hone messaging and overall look and feel. Using data we've gained from our modeling work, we are able to use computer controlled tooling to quickly prototype the highest risk sections of the piece. Since we are engineers at heart, we use a results based prototyping process. Why 3D print a scaled down version of the final piece if what you are really interested in is material durability? After refining our design, we set to work - computer controlled tools work alongside traditional craftsmen and electronics designers to build the piece in the most cost effective and time saving manner possible. The integration of human effort and CNC tooling allows us to be flexible and easily editable in our designs - most design changes can be easily integrated into our pieces even very late in the game because we understand that changes always seem to happen just before the main event.
